Electrical Engineer

Smart Power Systems is seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer.

This role requires a combination of technical office work and field involvement, along with availability for travel and project supervision both within and outside Albania.

Due to the nature of the projects, flexibility in working hours and location is necessary, based on the company’s operational needs.

Duties

• Oversees and coordinates electrical projects from planning through to completion of works;
• Organizes and coordinates work teams and daily activities on site;
• Monitors progress, deadlines, quality, and compliance with project specifications;
• Reads, reviews, and updates technical drawings and projects in AutoCAD;
• Prepares material lists, records, work reports, and technical documentation;
• Maintains organized project documentation and records of completed works;
• Coordinates material, equipment, and human resource needs for project execution;
• Communicates with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other project teams;
• Documents technical and organizational issues and collaborates on their resolution;
• Participates in inspections, measurements, verifications, and handovers of works on site;
• Follows company procedures and safety requirements during project execution;
• Provides regular reports on project progress and issues.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Basic knowledge of electrical installations and systems;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite;
• Good command of spoken and written English;
• Category B driving license;
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills;
• Willingness to travel and supervise projects both domestically and abroad;
• Flexibility with working hours as required by project demands;
• Previous experience is preferred but not required;
