Alko Impex Construction, one of the most established companies in the construction and infrastructure sector in Albania, is expanding its team and is looking to hire: Environmental Engineer.
Duties
- Develops, implements, and monitors projects aimed at protecting and improving the environment.
- Prepares Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Reports and Environmental and Social Management Plans.
- Analyzes environmental data (soil, water, air) and prepares technical reports.
- Works with engineers from other disciplines to ensure projects comply with national and international environmental standards.
- Evaluates environmental risks and recommends measures to reduce negative impacts.
- Participates in field inspections, collects data, and monitors the application of sustainable practices.
- Supports the preparation of documentation for obtaining environmental permits.
- Performs any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Main requirements: University degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
- More than 5 years of experience as a Technical Manager.
- Possession of an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) certificate.
- Good knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in software or other environmental analysis tools is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.
