Construction Engineer

TechnoBuild 2018 is seeking to hire: Construction Engineer specialized in construction/structure/transport ,

who has graduated or is in the 4th or 5th year of studies within the 3+2 system.

Duties

• Before starting work, reviews the validity of the technical-legal documentation of the project according to an approved checklist
• Reviews implementation projects, cost estimates, and technical specifications of the project to be built and provides relevant remarks when deficiencies or irregularities are identified
• Executes the work organization plan, prepares daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, and submits them to the Implementation Sector Manager / Project Manager for discussion or approval
• Is responsible for carrying out the work in accordance with implementation projects, cost estimates, technical specifications, and quality standards
• Is responsible for the quality of the work, proper application of materials, and methodology
• Reports daily to the Site Director on quality activities, measures taken to identify and resolve issues, and their status
• Participates in all measurements performed for volumes and maintains the corresponding minutes
• Follows the work schedule according to established deadlines, monitors and supervises the work of subcontractors, workgroups, or individuals on site, ensuring that work is completed with quality, on time, and according to the highest HSE standards
• Provides ongoing clarifications on work organization, project implementation, and technical conditions to the Site Manager
• Prepares, completes, and reports the attendance list of workers on site
• Completes the work diary and site logbook and submits them to the supervisor for approval
• Continuously prepares measurement records for the work performed
• Periodically prepares payment lists for work done by subcontractors, workgroups, or individuals on site
• Continuously completes technical-legal documentation throughout the construction phases until project completion
• Identifies needs for changes in implementation projects and cost estimates and proposes them to the relevant authorities for approval
• Monitors and is responsible for the norms of material consumption applied to the work
• Requests and verifies that all materials arriving on site are accompanied by certificates of origin and quality in accordance with technical specifications

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Construction Engineering.
• Must have at least 2 years of work experience in civil projects.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
