Electronics Implementation Engineer

Cacttus, a company with 25 years of experience in information and communication technology, is seeking to hire an Implementation Electronics Engineer for a telecommunication and automation project on the new Tirana-Durres-Rinas Railway. The role involves contributing to the timely and quality completion of the project. This position requires knowledge of implementing telecommunication networks on site, automation systems, and the ability to work well within a team.

Salary 2500 euros gross.

Duties

• Plans, directs, and supervises on site the installation of communication cables, devices, and sensors along the railway, as well as equipment in monitoring and control rooms.
• Reports completed work to the project manager and the contracting company.
• Allocates tasks, tools, and personnel to carry out the work.
• Documents procedures and prepares reports on test and verification results.
• Works closely with other site engineers to coordinate activities.
• Attends team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and ongoing projects.
• Identifies opportunities to improve existing processes and streamline work methods.
• Maintains regular contact with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and materials.
• Ensures employee discipline and compliance with workplace safety and protection regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge and experience in laying copper and optical cables.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in similar roles and over 5 years as an electronic engineer.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well with colleagues.
• Proficient in English for communication; Italian as a second language is preferred.
