About the job
Kalaja Talent Consulting is seeking to hire a Freight Forwarding Manager.
Duties
- Manages and coordinates national and international shipments.
- Organizes road, sea, and/or air transport according to client requirements.
- Communicates and builds long-term relationships with clients, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Negotiates rates, terms, and transport agreements with partners and carriers.
- Monitors the entire transport process, from shipment organization to final delivery.
- Ensures shipments are completed on time and meet client requirements.
- Identifies new business opportunities and helps expand the client portfolio.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international transport.
- Strong knowledge of the transport and logistics market.
- Practical experience organizing road, sea, and/or air transport.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Good organizational skills and effective deadline management.
- Good command of the English language.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, accurate, and strongly client- and results-oriented.
