Regional Manager (Retail)

WELL sh.p.k., part of Alkos Group Albania, due to business expansion and development in Tirana and surrounding areas, announces a vacancy for the position: REGIONAL MANAGER (M/F) in RETAIL

The Regional Manager is responsible for:

• Supervising several WELL stores within a defined geographic area and coordinating all retail activities in the respective region.
• Organizing and ensuring the smooth running of all daily operations and beyond to maximize sales and minimize costs for the WELL store network;
• Organizing, delegating tasks and responsibilities, leading, and motivating the sales team, among other duties.

Duties

• Supervise the daily operations of stores, oversee training, planning, organizing, and prioritizing work processes as well as developing other operational activities;
• Ensure all stores operate according to the company’s strategy;
• Monitor and achieve the sales plan and budget;
• Forecast based on current target planning, analyze sales and revenue reports;
• Ensure smooth operations to maximize sales and minimize costs;
• Collaborate with store managers on stock management, maintaining accurate product records for each store;
• Coordinate and monitor promotional campaigns following directives from the Marketing department;
• Identify new opportunities and continuously provide concrete and actionable suggestions to improve work processes in the covered area;
• Conduct analyses and cooperate with the Marketing department on competitor pricing and latest market trends.
• Perform various evaluations on overall store performance, staff, daily/weekly/monthly sales, etc., within set deadlines;
• Develop and implement training, strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize staff productivity and motivation;
• Schedule and lead regular/monthly meetings with the sales team and other departments as needed, to share information, review goals, and set sales plan objectives;
• Organize and supervise daily staff attendance and oversee the performance of store managers;
• Monitor and take responsibility for recruitment, training, and staff turnover;
• Maintain regular communication with store managers and other company departments to ensure all activities are harmonized and coordinated on time;
• Handle difficult situations appropriately and address issues within deadlines, actively seeking solutions;
• Perform other assigned tasks;
• Lead the team by personal example.

Qualifications

• Education: University degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.Work experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in similar commercial companies, retail or distribution, managing networks.Additional skills Computer skills in Microsoft Office package, proficiency in Excel preferred (MUST);
• Excellent command of English (MUST);
• Strong planning and organizational skills with time and deadline management;
• Strong analytical, organizational, creative, and strategic skills; result-oriented;
• Very good skills in evaluating current business practices and preparing specific reports;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, cooperation, interpersonal, and interactive skills;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Characterized by integrity and high professional ethics;
• Critical thinking – Ability to think from the consumer’s perspective and understand purchasing behavior;
• Flexibility in working hours and availability to travel regularly throughout the covered area;
• Driving license.
