Job position: Ocean Freight Sales Manager
Department : Sales
Location: Tirana

Summary: A shipping line sales manager leads sales, sets container freight rates and targets, and builds key customer accounts to grow market share for a Maersk maritime carrier.

Duties

Operational Duties:

• Develop and close new business opportunities for ocean freight services for Maersk shipping line.
• Sell FCL, LCL, and project cargo solutions to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and shippers .
• Monitor freight rates, carrier capacity, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Work closely with operations, customer service, and trade management to ensure smooth cargo delivery.
• Communication and organizing new ocean transport bookings with Maersk Line agents from all around the world.
• Professional and ethical communication with clients and fulfilment all business requests.
• Following FCL / LCL monthly statistics.
• Follow up with invoices process with Line, create and follow up disputes.
• Any other task requested by director.

Qualifications

a. Education

• University Degree.
• Relevant work experience of minimum 3+ years of ocean freight sales, freight forwarding, or logistics business development experience.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
• Excellent knowledge of English.

b. Other requirements:

• Good handling work under pressure and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Team work oriented.
