Purchasing Specialist

We are looking to hire a HVAC Purchasing Specialist (Engineering profile)

Duties

• Identifying and selecting local and international suppliers for equipment, materials, and technical components;
• Requesting and obtaining offers from suppliers, comparing them, and preparing cost analyses;
• Negotiating with suppliers on prices, payment terms, deadlines, and supply conditions;
• Preparing and tracking purchase orders from the moment of request until receipt of goods;
• Monitoring delivery deadlines and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely arrival of materials;
• Coordinating with the warehouse, technical department, and other departments to identify purchasing needs;
• Reviewing purchase documentation, invoices, offers, orders, and accompanying documents;
• Managing import documentation and coordinating with relevant parties for customs clearance;
• Monitoring stock levels and planning purchases based on company needs;
• Creating and maintaining a database of suppliers, prices, and cooperation terms;
• Evaluating and periodically monitoring supplier performance;
• Tracking payments and reconciling documentation with the finance department;
• Preparing periodic reports on purchases, costs, suppliers, and orders;
• Proposing alternatives to optimize costs and improve the purchasing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, Management, Logistics, or related fields;
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply, or a similar role;
• Good knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier management;
• Experience in purchasing technical equipment/materials or in the HVAC sector is an advantage;
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with local and international suppliers;
• Very good command of English, especially for professional communication with suppliers;
• Strong analytical and calculation skills, particularly in offer and cost analysis;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
• Experience with ERP systems for purchase and stock management, especially Odoo, is an advantage;
• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management;
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
