Job Position: Sales Specialist
Department: Finance
Location: Near TEG, Tirana
Term: 1-year contract (Maternity Leave Replacement)

Position Summary:

The Sales Specialist in the Finance department is responsible for the financial control of the sales and collections cycle, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The role contributes to monthly closing, fiscal compliance, financial reporting, and strengthening internal controls.

Duties

• Performs financial reconciliation of sales and collections, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely recording of transactions.
• Manages and reconciles accounts receivable, monitoring customer balances, collections, and open items.
• Conducts bank reconciliations related to the sales cycle and follows up on identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.
• Ensures reconciliation and control of VAT and sales books, in compliance with current fiscal requirements.
• Participates in the month-end closing process, ensuring timely reconciliation and closing of accounts under responsibility.
• Prepares and analyzes aged receivables, monitors overdue balances, and coordinates collection follow-ups.
• Checks the accuracy and financial and fiscal treatment of sales invoices, credit notes, and supporting financial documentation.
• Manages client-supplier reconciliations and netting, ensuring proper documentation and accounting treatment.
• Monitors and analyzes discrepancies in sales and customer accounts and coordinates corrective actions with relevant parties.
• Contributes to financial reporting and controls according to IFRS standards, including the annual assessment of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) under IFRS 9.
• Contributes to improving internal controls, financial processes, and automation initiatives.
• Provides support for internal and external audits, as well as periodic financial reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Strong accounting skills and knowledge of tax legislation.
• Excellent skills in Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
