Facade Designer / Civil Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Aluflor is seeking to hire a Project Engineer – Civil / Mechanical to join the projects team. The candidate will participate in drawing and technical development of facade projects, aluminum and glass systems, preparing technical drawings and bills of materials (BOM), as well as coordinating the project with other departments. This role offers the opportunity to learn and gain practical knowledge about facade systems, design, production, and project execution.

Duties

• Preparing and updating technical drawings and shop drawings based on the project and technical specifications.
• Preparing bills of materials (BOM) and the quantities required for the project.
• Reading and interpreting architectural and structural projects.
• Supporting the development of technical details for facades, aluminum, glass, and related elements.
• Updating drawings and materials according to project changes.
• Collaborating with the teams of Design, Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Site.
• Supporting the Project Manager in tracking project progress and deadlines.
• Identifying and following up, together with the team, on technical issues during project development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Basic or good knowledge of reading and producing technical drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Good organizational skills and a willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
• Experience in facades, construction, or design is an advantage but not a mandatory requirement.
