Data Processing Agreement & Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Data Processing Agreement outlines how MyJobs.al collects, processes, and protects your personal data in strict compliance with the Law No. 124/2024 "On Personal Data Protection" of the Republic of Albania, which is aligned with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By submitting your application or using our platform, you explicitly consent to the practices described in this document.

2. Data Collection, Usage, and Lawfulness of Processing

When you apply for a vacancy or create a profile, we collect the following personal data based on your explicit consent:

• Your full name, email address, and phone number
• Your resume, CV, and any other attached documents (which may contain educational and professional history)
• Details regarding the specific vacancy you are applying for

This data is strictly used for the purpose of facilitating the recruitment process. We act as a data processor on behalf of the employers (who act as data controllers). Your information is securely and directly shared with the specific employer you are applying to and is not sold to any third parties.

3. Data Retention and Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction. We retain your application data only for as long as strictly necessary to fulfill the recruitment purposes or as required by Albanian legal obligations.

4. Your Rights as a Data Subject

In accordance with Law No. 124/2024, you are guaranteed robust rights over your personal data. You have the right to:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request the permanent deletion of your data from our systems and the employer's dashboard.
• Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
